*We understand that technology is not everyone’s friend! So if you are not comfortable and able to meet the above requirements, simply sign up for an in-person NTMC Hands-On Training instead!
** Accessing a zoom meeting is simple and straight forward. Details regarding your specific Hands-On Training Zoom meeting will be sent to you after registration. However, if you are unfamiliar with zoom, check out how to access a meeting here.
Sign On/ Log In
Details regarding your Hands-On Training Zoom Meeting will be emailed to you after registration. Please plan to be signed on with your webcam and microphone functioning no later than 7:45 AM CST on Day 1. You will be placed in a waiting room and “let in” to start the course at 8 AM CST sharp. Once logged in, you will remain ‘live’ for the duration of the training.
You’re on your own! Please be prepared to have food available as you will only have 45 minutes for lunch. There will not be time to go out to lunch. We will have a fun filled, full day!
Plan your space to accommodate your computer with webcam and microphone where you can assure good internet connection and internet speed along with a quiet background for optimal learning and interaction. And, make sure you are comfortable for an all day adventure!
Dress is casual
Please wear a short sleeve shirt on day 1 and a sleeveless shirt on day 2 (feel free to have a sweater for in between activities!). Feel free to dress comfortable but you will be streaming live through your web webcamera with other attendees for the duration of the training. We will also be taking screenshot photos of you during the certification class to validate your attendance.
About 6 weeks prior to the course, a package will be mailed to you via UPS for those living in the USA and via email if you live internationally. This package will have detailed information about how to access Zoom and what supplies you need. We will be providing the ppt handouts and other resources for the course.
